As the founder and creative director of La Parelen, a slow fashion brand inspired by the refined spirit of Luxembourg, Mutiara channels exclusivity, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling into each creation. The brand is not only a reflection of her artistic vision but also a platform where fashion becomes narrative — weaving heritage, place, and identity into wearable art. Her milestone of being the first Indonesian influencer featured on three digital covers of MOVER Magazine (June 2025 issue) cements her role as a trailblazer representing Indonesia on the global stage.
Corporate Leadership to Global Influence
Parallel to her artistic journey, Mutiara built an impressive corporate career. As Assistant Manager at Tradeasia International, she spearheaded the Food Chemicals SBU and played a decisive role in expanding into the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector. Armed with academic foundations from the University of Indonesia and the University of Queensland, she mastered the balance between strategy and creativity. Now, as she prepares for her MBA in Luxury Brand Management at Glasgow Caledonian University London, she has stepped back from her corporate role — choosing to embrace a period of exploration, travel, and global collaborations with brands such as Calvin Klein and Frank & Co.
