Stars of Team USA and Team Europe dazzle alongside their partners at the Ryder Cup 2025 Welcome Dinner in New York

The Ryder Cup 2025 festivities officially teed off in style on Tuesday night, as players from Team USA and Team Europe traded golf gear for glamour at the annual Welcome Dinner. Held at the magnificent Hempstead House, a 50,000-square-foot mansion in Sands Point, New York, the red-carpet affair brought together golfers and their partners for an evening of elegance before competition begins Friday at Bethpage Black.

Players and their wives made a grand chandelier-lit entrance, pausing to pose on the red carpet before joining one another inside for a night of celebration. The gala marked the most fashionable moment of the week, blending golf’s fiercest rivalry with its most glamorous traditions.

European captain Luke Donald and his wife Diane were picture-perfect, with Diane dazzling in a gold fringe dress as they smiled alongside U.S. captain Keegan Bradley and his wife Jillian, who shone in a sparkling gown.

Diane also captured the spirit of the evening with a selfie featuring fellow WAGs, including Katherine Gaal, wife of Matt Fitzpatrick, and Kelley Cahill, wife of Jon Rahm.

Across the mansion’s grand halls, moments of camaraderie unfolded as players mingled with their families. Justin Rose and his wife Kate were spotted sharing a laugh with Shane Lowry and his wife Wendy, while Collin Morikawa and his wife Katherine Zhu arrived hand in hand. Scottie Scheffler and his wife Meredith made an elegant entrance, reflecting the mix of excitement and anticipation ahead of the tournament.

The evening wasn’t without tender gestures — Shane Lowry was seen helping his wife Wendy adjust her earring before a group photo, while couples from both teams posed together alongside the coveted Ryder Cup trophy.

As tradition dictates, the Welcome Dinner not only celebrated the game’s greatest rivalry but also offered a rare glimpse of the sport’s stars away from the greens, united with their partners in support and style.

With the Americans holding a 27–15–2 all-time edge in Ryder Cup history, both teams now turn their focus to Bethpage Black, where golf’s most storied competition begins on Friday.
