Trenton Brisco: Turning Advocacy Into Action for Children Who Need It Most

A life devoted to protecting and empowering youth

A Mission Rooted in Purpose
Trenton Brisco is a nationally experienced foster care advocate, community leader, and award-winning filmmaker whose work is centered on one mission: protecting, uplifting, and empowering children. He currently serves as the Foster Parent Growth and Retention Coordinator for the Las Vegas chapter of National Youth Advocate Program, where he focuses on recruiting, training, and supporting foster families to ensure children are placed in safe, stable, and nurturing homes.

Early Foundations in Youth Advocacy
Trenton’s dedication to children began in his teenage years through after-school programs, mentoring initiatives, and anti-bullying efforts. These early experiences shaped his understanding of how guidance, consistency, and care can change a young person’s trajectory, planting the seeds for a lifelong commitment to youth advocacy.

Storytelling With a Greater Purpose
His path later expanded into athletics, acting, and entertainment, where he appeared in film and television projects and toured nationally in character roles designed to inspire and uplift children. While he found success in Hollywood, Trenton always viewed storytelling as a means to amplify positive messages and support his deeper calling rather than as an end in itself.

A Defining Turning Point
While living in Indiana and working in youth centers and education, Trenton was first asked to become a foster parent. Although he could not foster at that time, the experience ignited a calling that would shape his future. Indiana sparked the mission, and Las Vegas became the place where he fully stepped into it.

Life as a Foster Parent
Since then, Trenton has fostered more than 45 children through multiple agencies and is currently fostering three children. This firsthand experience gives him a rare and deeply informed perspective on the foster care system, allowing his advocacy to be grounded in lived reality rather than theory alone.

Championing Neurodivergent Children
Before returning fully to foster care advocacy, Trenton spent five years as a special education teacher, specializing in working with children on the autism spectrum. This experience profoundly influenced his approach to training and supporting foster families. He strongly advocates for increased education and resources for families caring for neurodivergent children, emphasizing that these children possess unique strengths that deserve recognition and support.

Building Community Through Service
Beyond his professional role, Trenton is deeply engaged in community building across Las Vegas. He has collaborated with nonprofits focused on childhood wellness and local fundraising initiatives, and he founded Knights of the Round Table, a service-driven business mixer designed to foster collaboration, connection, and purpose-driven relationships.

Film as a Tool for Awareness
As an award-winning filmmaker, Trenton consistently centers children and social impact in his creative work. His feature film Vegas Traffic explores the realities of child trafficking and highlights the vulnerability of children in foster care when stability and advocacy are lacking. The film earned Best Director honors at the Nikola Tesla Film Festival, reinforcing his belief in media as a catalyst for awareness and change.

A Lifelong Calling
While Trenton continues to pursue opportunities in film and television, foster care remains his true passion. Whether he is training foster parents, supporting families, building community spaces, or telling stories that protect children, Trenton Brisco leads with compassion, authenticity, and an unshakable belief in the power of safe, loving homes to change lives.
