A Rock-and-Roll Romance Rooted in Love, Resilience, and a Gothic Dream
Dave Navarro and Vanessa DuBasso have officially embarked on their next chapter together, sealing their love in an enchanting wedding set against the breathtaking backdrop of a secluded Scottish estate. The Jane’s Addiction rocker, 57, and the He’s All That actress, 31, exchanged vows on March 29 in an intimate forest ceremony, followed by a reception inside an Edwardian castle.
Navarro and DuBasso’s journey began eight years ago when fate—and a movie trailer—brought them together. The guitarist, captivated by DuBasso’s presence on-screen, reached out to the film’s director, a mutual friend, who introduced them. From that moment, a deep and transformative connection was formed.
“I was immediately drawn to Dave’s green chestnut eyes, tattoos, and dark comedic humor,” DuBasso shared. “His whole being is powerfully magnetic, and it was love at first sight.”
For Navarro, this love is more than just romance—it’s a profound partnership built on unwavering support. “The key to our relationship is standing by each other through the darkest times and the lightest times,” he said. “We can always rely on each other to catch the other if one of us slips.”
Choosing the perfect venue was crucial for the couple, who envisioned a wedding that felt otherworldly. The Scottish estate, surrounded by lush woodlands and steeped in history, was their ideal setting.
“We wanted our wedding to feel like a dream,” Navarro explained. “It was important to us to find a place that felt unlike anywhere we had ever been, a place that embraced nature and transported us to another world.”
For DuBasso, the castle’s enchanting presence was pure magic. “It felt like stepping into a fairytale,” she said.
In a deeply personal ceremony, the couple exchanged handwritten vows beneath the towering trees, followed by an unforgettable evening filled with celebration and dancing in the castle’s dungeon.
Beyond the romance, their bond has been one of healing and transformation. DuBasso credits Navarro with helping her grow into the person she is today.
“Dave saved me from myself,” she revealed. “I love who I am now because he’s shown me who I can be and what I’m capable of. He’s kissed all my scars, and I don’t know if either of us would be alive today if it weren’t for each other.”
This marks the fourth marriage for Navarro, who was previously married to makeup artist Tania Goddard-Saylor, Rhian Gittins, and model Carmen Electra. But for the rocker and his new bride, this love story is unlike any other—one that blends rock-and-roll intensity with an undeniable, soul-deep connection.
As they step into this new chapter, Navarro and DuBasso are proof that true love is not just about passion but about lifting each other up, through light and darkness, every step of the way.
