Victoria Carrera: From Adversity to Advocacy – A Journey of Triumph and Inspiration

Nurse, Advocate, Entrepreneur – Victoria Carrera’s Mission to Inspire and Uplift

Victoria Carrera, born and raised in New York City, is the embodiment of resilience, determination, and grace. From humble beginnings to a life devoted to advocacy and entrepreneurship, Victoria’s path is one of overcoming adversity and channeling her success into making a positive impact on others.

Growing up in poverty, Victoria faced the harsh realities of life early on. Navigating the complexities of the Administration for Children’s Services system, she was determined to rise above her circumstances. Her perseverance paid off when she graduated at the top of her class, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Hunter College.

With a decade-long career as a dedicated nurse, Victoria has provided care and compassion to countless patients, making a lasting impact on the lives of many. Her love for healthcare didn’t stop there. Recognizing a gap in accessible fitness and healthcare education, she founded EternalFit LLC, an online platform aimed at empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed in nursing and fitness. Through her innovative company, she ensures that learning is accessible to all, helping others achieve their potential in these crucial fields.

But Victoria’s passions go far beyond nursing and fitness. A fierce advocate for children’s rights, she serves as a child advocate for Brooklyn Family Court, fighting for the well-being and support of society’s most vulnerable. Her humanitarian efforts reach even farther as she prepares for a medical mission trip to Kenya, where she aims to address significant health disparities in underserved communities. This global perspective reflects Victoria’s deep compassion and commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world.

In addition to her work in healthcare and advocacy, Victoria’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through her latest endeavor as a franchise owner. This bold step reflects her ambition to create lasting change, both in her community and beyond. Her leadership and dedication inspire those around her, showing that with faith, perseverance, and hard work, anything is possible.

Guided by her strong faith in God, Victoria Carrera continues to strive for excellence in every aspect of her life. From her nursing career to her educational platform, child advocacy work, and entrepreneurial ventures, she uplifts and empowers others every step of the way. Victoria is a living testament to the power of overcoming adversity and using one’s platform to inspire positive change.

  1. What first sparked your passion for fitness at such a young age?

I was 6 years old and I picked up a 5lb pair of dumbbells and I just loved the way it felt to pump my arms.

2. How did you overcome the mental challenges from your upbringing?

I made the choice to work hard and stay focused on learning. I stayed to myself mostly to not be distracted.

3. What makes the holistic approach of EternalFit LLC unique?

It’s unique because many people get results from doctors with no real plan to reverse or slow down progression of disease. The holistic approach will allow me to explain to people what is going on in their body while implementing exercise and nutrition to combat comorbidities and medication fatigue

4. What inspired your decision to go on a medical mission to Kenya?

For the past 20 years I waited for the opportunity. God told me I was going and I just waited for him to tell me when.

5. How do you see boxing benefiting today’s tech-driven youth?

Boxing has been a life saver for me. I believe that the training involved is intense and builds a community with others doing the same training as you are. I’m hoping to create a summer program for the youth so they aren’t on their phone all day or sitting in front of a video game.

6. Why is community service, like feeding the homeless, important to you?

This Thanksgiving the gym I train at TBE Gym owned by Salvador Sisneros is going to assist the community by helping homeless people and families in need to get food for their Thanksgiving meal. The gym is located in Los Lunas NM. I grew up in a very food scarce environment and I know how it may be challenging to afford food.

7. Why do you emphasize long-term wellness over quick fixes?

Well for any condition you may have you didn’t acquire it overnight so you can’t expect a quick fix for anything. If you put on 30 pounds in a year you cannot expect to lose 30 pounds in 2 months it’s unrealistic.
