Djônatan Leão and Migra Academy: A New Path to Life Abroad

Djônatan Leão, a visionary entrepreneur who has been featured in major international media outlets—including interviews with Forbes USA and Forbes Mexico—has become a shining example of how determination and innovation can transform lives. With a journey marked by challenges and triumphs, Djônatan not only built a thriving career abroad but also established himself as a reference in the business world, appearing in other prestigious media worldwide. Now, he is preparing to launch Migra Academy, a project designed to help many Brazilians fulfill their dream of living abroad.

Djônatan’s story, shared with his wife Carol, is a testament to resilience and learning through adversity. “We immigrated to the United States in 2020 and went through a lot of difficulties. We learned so much in this country, starting from scratch to build our life here,” he recalls. The turning point came in 2021 when things began to fall into place, ultimately leading to the boom year of 2022, when his work in digital marketing gained major traction. “2022 was the boom, thanks to digital marketing in the U.S.,” he says with enthusiasm.

Inspired by his personal immigration journey, Djônatan conceived Migra Academy as more than just a bureaucratic support platform for moving abroad. “Migra Academy will be a school designed to teach people how to make informed decisions about living abroad and to understand how things work when you move to a new country. We want to show how Brazilians can live legally abroad. And it’s important to say, this is not an immigration office. That’s not what this company is about.”

The project will offer practical courses to financially prepare those planning to immigrate, covering the complexities of personal adaptation and organization. One of the initial modules is “ABC of America,” which will explain how the U.S. economy works, the purchasing power dynamics, and the steps required to open a business. “We’ll teach how the country works—the economy, purchasing power, how to start a business in the U.S. We’ll also provide guidance on the best states and cities to live in. This will cover both the U.S. and Canada,” Djônatan explains.

Additionally, Djônatan is also the founder and CEO of Escola do Dólar, an education and technology platform focused on international business training. Founded in 2022 in the United States, Escola do Dólar has been a huge success, with over 87,000 students in 67 countries. “Escola do Dólar was designed to teach people how to navigate the complexities of doing business internationally, providing practical tools and knowledge that help individuals thrive in the global market,” he shares.

Migra Academy promises to empower individuals by giving them the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed abroad. Djônatan Leão’s personal journey, from immigrant to business leader, is not only inspiring but also a testament to what can be achieved with the right mindset and preparation. His new venture aims to make those same opportunities accessible to others, guiding them through the complexities of relocating to a new country and equipping them with practical skills for success.

As Djônatan looks to the future, it is clear that Migra Academy is not just about immigration—it is about building a better future, wherever life takes you.
