Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has revealed his favorite Taylor Swift album — and, unsurprisingly, he’s a little biased. During a Super Bowl Opening Night interview, the NFL star, 35, was asked which of Swift’s albums tops his list, and without hesitation, he named The Tortured Poets Department.
“Of course, it’s the latest one,” Kelce said, acknowledging that he “might be a little biased” toward the 2024 album, which fans believe features several songs inspired by his relationship with Swift.
“There’s a few on there that are bangers,” Kelce added, singling out “So High School” and “The Alchemy,” both of which contain football and Kelce-related references.

When asked about the much-anticipated release of Reputation (Taylor’s Version), Kelce remained coy, responding with a teasing, “I can neither confirm nor deny.” While fans were eager for any inside scoop, the NFL star had nothing more to say on the topic, leaving speculation running wild.

Swifties have been analyzing the lyrics of The Tortured Poets Department for possible references to Kelce. In So High School, Swift sings about a romance blossoming “in the blink of a crinkling eye,” a line fans quickly associated with Kelce’s signature eye crinkle when he smiles.
The song also references the classic game “Kiss, Marry, Kill,” which Kelce played in a resurfaced 2016 interview where he was asked to choose between Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Swift — ultimately selecting to “kiss” his future girlfriend.
Another notable lyric from So High School reads: “Truth, dare, spin bottles / You know how to ball, I know Aristotle / Touch me while your bros play Grand Theft Auto.” The contrast between Kelce’s football-focused life and Swift’s poetic world has delighted fans, who see it as a playful nod to their dynamic relationship.
