Kristen Stewart Quietly Marries Dylan Meyer in Laid-Back L.A. Ceremony

The couple, who got engaged in 2021, tied the knot over Easter weekend in an intimate celebration with close friends and heartfelt memories.

Kristen Stewart is officially off the market!

The Twilight star, 35, married screenwriter Dylan Meyer, 37, in a low-key yet joyful ceremony held on Easter Sunday in Los Angeles. According to PEOPLE, the intimate gathering took place at Casita del Campo, a beloved Mexican restaurant in Silver Lake known for its colorful ambiance and storied Hollywood history.

The couple obtained their Los Angeles County marriage license just five days prior to the ceremony, which TMZ first reported. Among the close friends present were actress and singer Ashley Benson and her husband, actor Brandon Davis.

A representative for Stewart has not yet commented on the nuptials.

A Modern Love Story

Stewart and Meyer first went public with their relationship in October 2019 and became engaged in 2021. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show that same year, Stewart revealed that Meyer was the one who popped the question — a detail that delighted fans for its unconventional sweetness.

“It’s not a given that I would be the one, you know what I mean?” Stewart said candidly. “Like, with two girls, you never know who’s going to fulfill what weird f—ing gender role thing — and we don’t do that or think about it in those terms.”

She added with a laugh, “I was like, ‘Wait, well, I’m not the one for sure.’ I kept joking like, ‘No, I want to be proposed to!’ And then she just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was so cute.”

From Flavortown Dreams to Real-Life I Do’s

The Oscar-nominated actress previously expressed a whimsical desire to have celebrity chef Guy Fieri officiate her wedding — a nod to his advocacy and memorable role in a mass wedding for same-sex couples. Fieri even responded with a surprise video on Today, enthusiastically offering his services.

“Hey, Kristen, Guy Fieri here, and I heard through the Flavortown grapevine that you are looking for a sweet spiky-haired officiant for your wedding,” he said. “I’m all in!”

While the dream pairing didn’t pan out, Stewart revealed in a 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live that she and Meyer ultimately decided to keep things simple. “I’m bad at planning stuff,” she admitted to Andy Cohen. “I think we’ll probably just marry each other and then call Guy and say, ‘You were here in spirit, babe.'”

A Quiet Celebration of Big Love

Though Stewart and Meyer have kept much of their relationship out of the public eye, they’ve shared touching moments with fans. From Meyer’s poetic birthday tributes to their red carpet appearances — including at the Oscars and the Academy Women’s Luncheon presented by Chanel — the couple has always exuded a grounded and genuine affection.

Their Easter wedding was a reflection of that ethos: intimate, unpretentious, and deeply personal.

As Stewart once said of her desire to get married: “We might just go do it this weekend, I don’t know… I just want to do it. I’m not a good planner. I can’t make plans for dinner.”

It turns out, love doesn’t need a grand plan — just the right person, and the right moment.
